Woori jib (18/114)

If you haven't guessed it by now, we're back for good now that summer is here again! (With new posts every Monday)
This week we decided to continue our trek of eating at all 114 restaurants on campus and went to Woori jib!

The Worrijiib menu is at the back of the store. The most popular dishes have their own posters on the table and there is a 3-ring booklet with the rest of the dishes.

Yanfen went for her favorite dish (which also happens to be the most popular) Beef Bulgogi (spicy) and Tiffany got the Stir fry squid

Final Review:

Environment: 4/10
We were not very impressed with the Worrijiib environment. The restaurant is too small for its popularity. The seating are very boring and uncomfortable and they were arranged with spacing, not comfort, in mind. We sat in the back corner (following Yanfen's strict seating rules) and there was another table very close to us. It was so close that we have to ask them to move every time we wanted to leave.

This place is not recommended for a romantic date or a professional meeting, however it will work for a group of friends.

Food Review

Yanfen

Spicy Beef Bulgogi   Taste 10/10   Price  9/10  Fullness 9/10
This is one of my favorite dishes on campus! My favorite thing is that when you first get your dish, the meat just sizzles on the plate! The meat is very nice and tender and have the slightly burnt BBQ flavor. I ordered mine spicy but it really wasn't spicy at all. The dish comes with a sauce to go with the meat but I don't think it has much of a taste and I just ate mine plain.

It also came with a bowl of rice and some kimchi, yum yum!

Stir fry squid  Taste 8/10   Price  7/10  Fullness 10/10
Its very good, and is pretty spicy. There is waaaay to much sauce, and it breaks apart the rice almost like a soup. It taste delicious when you eat it but it makes you drink tons of water (not due to the spice) and leaves a bad after taste. The squid is cooked pretty thoroughly, and I prefer more tender squid.

Turns out it contains something I'm allergic to and so I spent the next hour coughing my lungs out. I really need to bring an epipen....
