Weekday Special: Champaign County Fair!

The Champaign County Fair is in town! We decided to go check out all the infamously fatty fair foods with our friends Chase, Troy, and Whitney.

We could see the fair as we drove in, the flashing lights were an attraction by itself!

Weekend Special : Meatheads Burger & Fries

After working 5 hours at the lab (7 AM on a Saturday!) Yanfen decided we should take a lunch break! This time we went a bit off campus to go to Meatheads, a burger and fries place that opened recently. The outside is very modern looking, and sort of gives off a Chipotle vibe.

Spoon House (3/114)

For lunch today we were joined by our first special guest reviewer- Tina! To celebrate her birthday, we went to Spoon House, a Korean restaurant on Green St. It has a pretty cute sign out on the front with tons of signs featuring their specials.

Casablanca Kebab House (2/114)

Yanfen got some coupons in the mail which had a coupon for Casablanca. After googling it, we realized that it was actually right next to us on green street! We pass by it everyday and never noticed it!

Hello everyone!

One day, two lab rats, Tiffany and Yanfen, were eating away their grad school stress as usual when they realized that they eat out together EVERYDAY! Instead of moaning about how much money they are spending, they decided to go the other route. We are aiming to try every food item from every restaurant in the Champaign-Urbana-Savoy area starting with all 114 restaurants in campus town listed in Urbanspoon. We invite YOU to chow with us!

For our first blog post, we decided to try one of Yanfen's favorite places which is less well known: DOODLES!
