Hi readers! I know we're falling behind (in fact we're backlogged like 5 restaurants!) So lets see what Tiffany and Yanfen have been eating...

Outside of Legends on Green St.

Today we went to Legends, it serves American food and doubles as a bar!

The menu!

 Legends is your typical college bar. When you walk in there's a bar in the center with seating around the edges. They have lunch specials as well as drink specials. You order your food and pay at the bar and pick it up at the kitchen counter when your number is called. Next to the kitchen counter is an assortment of condiments including veggies if you ordered a burger.

 So we decided to try their specials; Yanfen got the Legends Burger which is suppose to be the best in town and Tiffany got the boneless rib sandwich.

Once again, when it was time to leave, we didn't know what to do.. We ended up just walking out sheepishly with some tip at the table... Awkwardly waiting for other people to leave seems to be trend with us now...

Final Review: 

Enviromental: 7/10

 It's exactly as you'd expect a bar to look like! dark brown wooden interior with a bunch of clean booths inside. They had some decorations inside including full Illini Chief statue! Most of the people their looked like workers on a lunch break, or families taking a school tour. This would be great for a quick drink with the lab and place to go with friends.






Legend's Burger - Yanfen

Taste 5/10  Price 7/10  Fullness 8/10
According to their menu this burger is voted number one in C-U. I think that statement raised my expectations too high. To be honest, I don't really see why. In my opinion it wasn't that great.

The meat was ok tasting but it was too "meaty" to me. It was one of those patties that's kind of soggy with a strong flavor. The chips were ok, not too special.

Overall, I was a bit disappointed. It's possible I caught them on a bad day but for now, the burger is a neh for me.







Boneless Rib Sandwich - Tiffany 

Taste 3/10 , Price : 2/10, fullness: 4/10

 Reminds me of a McRib sandwich from McDonalds. In fact, I'm pretty sure they stole the recipe. It's loaded with a sweet barbeque sauce that covers the taste of the meat (which tasted pretty much like nothing...) and had a plain bun. It had a sprinkle of raw onions that pretty much fell out when you tried to eat it. The fries were okay, but nothing too special. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion. Unless you are one of the McRib followers I'd probably wouldn't get this sandwich...
